Following a really bad loss to Ole Miss and a comeback win over 5-12 Kentucky, Tennessee has dropped back down in the latest edition of the AP Top 25 poll. The Volunteers moved from No. 11 to No. 16.
According to KenPom, Tennessee is the 12th best team in the country.
The Vols will now take on Georgia at home on Wednesday, following the postponement of the Florida matchup. Tennessee will then travel to LSU on Saturday afternoon.
Up top, things remained the same. Gonzaga is still No. 1, while Baylor is still No. 2. Michigan remains ranked third despite being paused due to COVID concerns, and Ohio State makes a big move into the top four.
As for the SEC interests, Missouri enters the top ten after a win over Alabama, while the Crimson Tide slide back to No. 11.
