Go behind the scenes with Tennessee during the Orange and White Game on ‘The Juice’

Spring practice wrapped up a few weeks back with the traditional Orange and White Game for Tennessee. It was our first live look at the Josh Heupel era, which was as advertised. Plenty of points were put on the board as Harrison Bailey and Brian Maurer really stood out as the top performers of the day.

The speed of the offense was evident, and so too was the lack of depth on defense. Overall it was a fun watch, and the latest episode of ‘The Juice’ takes you through the practices leading up to the game, along with scenes from the game itself.

Defensive line coach Rodney Garner can be seen getting after his group, bringing a little bit of a different style than the rest of the staff. Appearances were made by linebackers coach Brian Jean-Mary, receivers coach Kodi Burns and of course head coach Josh Heupel.

This was a really well-done production by Tennessee, peeling back a layer of the program for us to see. It’s safe to say that the previous staff wouldn’t do anything like this, and we hope little things like this continue to be the norm in Knoxville.
