Tennessee is already set for a big non-conference slate this season, which includes participating in the Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament. The Volunteers usually find their way into one of the big preseason tournaments every year, and 2022 will be no different.
Per Jon Rothstein, Tennessee will play in the 2022 Battle 4 Atlantis. The field will reportedly consist of Tennessee, Kansas, USC, N.C. State, Wisconsin, Butler, Dayton and BYU.

Tennessee played in this event back in 2017, upsetting Purdue, losing to Villanova, and then beating N.C. State. The tournament will once again be played in the Bahamas.
The Volunteers will take on Villanova, and then either Purdue or North Carolina in the Hall of Fame Tip-Off this year. They were set to play in a stacked Charleston Classic last season, but that ended up being a casualty of the pandemic.
The Battle 4 Atlantis will give Tennessee three solid non-conference matchups in 2021-22 to add to a trip to Arizona, which was scheduled a few weeks ago.
