A sure sign that the season is just right around the corner, Tennessee released their updated roster today ahead of SEC Media Days next week. The roster looks quite different than it did even back in April during spring practices, as Josh Heupel has continued to churn this group in hopes of maximizing it during his first season in Knoxville.

Tennessee has been hit harder than any other program by the transfer portal, thanks in part due to the coaching change that was made pretty late in the cycle. It was also due to the NCAA relaxing restrictions on transfers, along with conferences beginning to grant intraconference transfers immediate eligibility.

The result is a very different looking roster, which you can see here.

Below we’ll highlight the newcomers, who were given numbers and official measurements on Wednesday.
