The SEC revealed the full 2022 schedule on Tuesday night, meaning we would learn the final game of Tennessee’s conference slate with Alabama already locked in from the west. That final opponent turns out to be LSU, on the road.
Tennessee will head to Death Valley just one week before hosting Alabama for the traditional Third Saturday in October matchup. The Volunteers will have an open date following the Florida game, and the South Carolina game will shift into late November.
On the non-conference side, Tennessee will open with a game against Ball State, before making a trip to Pittsburgh. The Volunteers rearranged their schedule officially today, cancelling the Army game and replacing it with a matchup against Akron. UT-Martin will be the final non-conference game on October 22nd.
