Josh Heupel is impressive in his play calling when it comes to passing, but is very unimpressive when it comes to running the football. We have 3 very good running backs, but when 90% of the plays they are handed is "up the middle", opposing teams have a 90% chance of being prepared for that. Heupel needs to hire an Offensive Coordinator that is creative in the run game and use some of the varied plays that other OC’s use against us with success each week. Then we can effectively run the ball or make 1st downs toward the end of the game, instead of trying to run the clock down late in the game and trying to run up the middle 3 times with no success, and turning the football over with minutes left on the clock.
