Jeremy Pruitt says quarterback Harrison Bailey has been missing practice in ‘social quarantine’

He informed reporters of the news on Friday.

Unfortunately, everyone on the planet knows what the term “quarantine” means after the last several months. On Friday, Tennessee Volunteers coach Jeremy Pruitt told reporters via Zoom that freshman quarterback Harrison Bailey is currently in “social quarantine”.

“He has not practiced,” Pruitt said. “The last press conference I told y’all we had some guys that were in some social quarantine. He’s one of the guys that is.”

Like Pruitt said, this means Bailey has to yet to practice since camp opened last week. He also didn’t specify whether Bailey had tested positive for COVID-19 or if he was quarantined because he came in contact with someone who did test positive.

The hopes are that the four-star recruit can come in and compete for the starting job — if not win the gig.

There will be plenty of storylines to monitor throughout camp, and the Coronavirus is certainly one of them. Stay tuned for updates.
