Marquez Callaway was basically a human highlight reel for the Tennessee Volunteers. Now, he gets the chance to be one for the New Orleans Saints.
An excellent camp helped Callaway earn a spot on the Saints’ 53-man roster. An undrafted free agent, Callaway was likely considered a long shot before camp begin. But that’s neither here nor there, anymore.
Not only will he be catching passes from future Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees, but he’ll also join former teammates Alvin Kamara and Shy Tuttle in New Orleans.
Callaway played for Tennessee from 2016-2019, finishing with 92 catches for 1,646 yards and 13 touchdowns. He was the Vols’ best deep threat, evidenced by a career average of 17.9 yards and a career-best 21.2 yards per reception as a senior.
